We are having our first OPEN HOUSE at the farm on May 20th from 10-4. Take a Sunday drive, come visit, have a snack, and say hello! There is even an option to plant if you choose, or just stroll through the garden beds and high tunnel. Everyone is welcome! The high tunnel has finally dried out enough to plant. All the seedlings that were grown in a greenhouse are being transplanted. Now we're just waiting for the fields to catch up! There is still lots to do and Micah spends every moment he can tilling, planting, weeding, and removing rocks from the beds. Tracy works away from home during the week, but occasionally she can help out. In the photo above, she is helping lay plastic. The plastic keeps the weeds down and ultimately saves hours of weeding time. The plastic is recycled and reused the next year.
